Dear researchers

We are pleased to share that the University of Basel is preparing to launch a bug bounty programme. The programme will initially focus on a limited number of carefully selected targets and researchers.

Our Vulnerability Disclosure Programme will continue to operate alongside the bug bounty programme. When selecting researchers for the initial phase, we will take previous submissions and contributions to our VDP into account. Participation in the VDP does not guarantee an invitation, but the quality and relevance of past reports will be part of our selection process.

Thank you for your outstanding work, your patience and the many valuable reports you have submitted so far. Your research has helped us identify and address important security issues, and we greatly appreciate your continued support.
